Technology Description:

The HSM Jet Spindle system uses the machine’s existing coolant or cutting fluid supply as a pressurized energy source (20 to 70 bars), rotating a turbine in the range of 40,000 to 80,000 RPMs. (regular spindle 10,000-12,000 RPMs). 
Utilizing coolant as a resource freely available in the machine, eliminates the cost and hassle associated with introducing an outside power feed – air supply or electricity. The HSM Jet Spindle is a compact device that easily fits on any ATC or tool magazine for Plug & Play convenience with no pre-installation needed. 
The Spindle is fitted with an onboard wireless sensor that transmits RPMs in real-time to an external display unit. 
Operators then can monitor spindle performance to ensure optimized accuracy and cutting speed
